Day 22 of the 31 Day Challenge is nail art that is inspired by a song. I chose the song "Love You Like A Love Song" by Selena Gomez & the Scene. I actually have a Nicole by OPI polish from the Selena Gomez collection called "Love Song" which I thought was perfect for it! It's a pretty shade of purple and one of my favorites. I used that as the base and then kept the nail art design simple. I used a nail art pen to paint on music notes. On my ring finger I used Sinful Colors "Boom Boom" polish to paint a heart and add some more color to the notes.
I just got back from Orlando last night and I actually didn't have anything for today's theme so I did this one after work. I'm happy with the result especially after having to put it together in a short amount of time. The purple is pretty and I think one can see the song inspiration. I definitely have "Love You Like a Love Song" in my head now!
That completes Day 22 of the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge. I'm behind on the remaining themes- I may end up needing a couple extra days but we'll see. I still have a bit of nail art to do!
The 31 Day Challenge (#31DC2015) is a challenge where participants do nail art inspired by 31 prompts and post one per day. I won't be painting my nails every day but I'm challenging myself to try to at least post each day using nail art I have yet to share in addition to new ones. Not sure if I'll be able to keep it up with my schedule but I'm going to try! Thanks for following along!
That was the jam! Also looking at the date, the song came out or was really popular around the time of your bachelorette party that we threw you and I remember it coming out during your makeover and coincidentally you did the nails inspired by the song just a few days short of the anniversary of your bachelorette. :D
