Chevron Nails Inspired by Bracelet

One of my sisters made me a bracelet.  I love it!  When I was wearing it I realized that I had colors in my Kiss Nail Artist Kits that matched perfectly so I painted a design inspired by the bracelet.

First I did a clear base coat and then after it dried I added chevron lines in the yellow, green, and pink colors that I had.  The polishes in the kit have long thin brushes that make it easier to paint lines. Once it was dry, I added a clear top coat.

I hadn't done a design over a clear polish besides French tips so I wasn't sure how it'd come out but I ended up really liking it!  I love how it looked from far and a few people commented on them and even noticed the matching bracelet!  I was happy with these.  A very special thanks to my sister for the bracelet and providing the inspiration!  :)

  1. That's such a cool idea to match your nails to a loom bracelet. One can make them in so many fun different colors. I wouldn't have thought of doing chevron lines! I really like the idea of using a clear background. So cute! :)
